  • 1 - 2 Tbsp caster sugar

  • 100 g unsalted butter, soft, plus extra for greasing
  • 75 g caster sugar
  • 125 g plain flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 2 medium eggs
  • 1 tsp natural vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Topping and Assembly

  • 200 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids), small pieces or callets
