  • 4 Medjool dates, pitted (approx. 80 g)
  • ½ lemon, peeled, pips removed, cut in pieces
  • 1 orange, medium, peeled, segmented, pips removed
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 ½ tsp Chinese five spice
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt, or to taste
  • 5 g fresh root ginger, peeled, cut in round slices (2 mm)
  • 40 g sesame oil

Salad

  • 180 g red cabbage, core removed, cut in pieces (2-3 cm)
  • 120 g red peppers, cut in pieces (2 cm)
  • 80 g carrots, cut in pieces (2 cm)
  • 80 g broccoli florets, cut in pieces (2 cm)
  • 80 g fine green beans, cut in pieces (3 cm)
  • 10 g fresh coriander leaves, or to taste
  • 10 g fresh mint leaves, or to taste
  • 80 g fresh bean sprouts
  • 60 g cashew nuts, unsalted
