Who doesn’t love the texture of a perfectly velvety soup? With Blend Mode, say goodbye to lumps, vegetable fibers and peels. Thermomix® transforms everything into a perfectly uniform and creamy texture.
There are some vegetables that have a higher water content than others (think zucchini, tomato, broccoli, and celery, among others). Take this into consideration when making soup so that it doesn’t turn out to be too watery or too thick. If you think you’ve added too much water, remove some before blending, and save it as a base for your next vegetable broth!
Potato, sweet potato, carrot, broccoli, pumpkin, peas… the flavor combinations for purée are unlimited! Purées are great as a side dish or pie filling! Blend Mode is also perfect for baby food: fruit purée, meat, bisques, oatmeal, etc.
Upgrade your potato purée:
• Add carrots, beets or peas to your potatoes for color.
• Enhance flavor by adding Parmesan cheese, crispy bacon, fresh herbs, or spices.
In Turbo Mode, safely grind ingredients in bursts of up to 2 seconds with the maximum speed of the device. Pre-set pulse times of 0.5, 1 and 2 seconds helps give you the necessary control, so that you can gradually chop hard ingredients like nuts, Parmesan cheese, and chocolate into increasingly smaller pieces without turning them to mush. The selected pulse time can be repeated until the desired consistency is achieved.
Use Turbo Mode to briefly chop citrus fruit with a splash of water to obtain their juice without getting the bitter flavor from the white pith of the skin. A great solution for homemade lemonade!
