  • 2 egg yolks, from large eggs
  • 1 tbsp whole milk, chilled

Filling

  • 7 oz pecan halves
  • 2 oz soft dark brown sugar
  • 2 oz unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 4 oz maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 - 3 tbsp apple jelly (optional)
    or 2 - 3 tbsp apricot jelly (optional)
