- 1 red onion, cut into quarters
- 1 Lebanese cucumber, trimmed

- 360 g roasted whole red pepper strips or grilled, drained from the marinade, cut into pieces

- 1 baby cos lettuce, with the hard core removed, cut in half

- 400 g canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 120 g cherry tomatoes, cut into halves
- ½ - 1 fresh green chilli, sliced and seeds removed if preferred
- 1 package feta cheese (200 g), crumbled
- fresh basil, leaves only to serve
