  • 1 garlic clove
  • 300 g ripe tomatoes seeds removed and cut into cubes (0.5-1 cm)
    or 300 g canned cherry tomatoes cut into cubes (0.5-1 cm)
  • 1 ½ tsp fine salt
  • 1 sprig fresh basil leaves washed and dried
  • 650 g water
  • 350 g pasta, dried, type conchiglie or other short type dried pasta
