Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary, leaves only
  • 3 sprigs fresh thyme, leaves only
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 150 g bacon, cut into small pieces (5 mm)
  • 150 g leek, white part only, cut into pieces (2-3 cm)
  • 100 g celery, cut into pieces (2-3 cm)
  • 200 g water
  • 80 g white wine
  • 900 g lamb neck fillet (see Tips)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • 3 dried bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp Chicken stock paste (see Tips)
  • 60 g pearl barley
  • 200 g carrots, cut into rounds (approx. 1.5 cm)
  • 200 g potatoes, peeled and cut into pieces (approx. 4 cm)
