  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg
  • 60 g brown ale
  • 6 slices thick cut bacon

Beer Mushrooms

  • 45 g water
  • 285 g cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 30 g unsalted butter, cold, in one cube
  • 15 g extra virgin olive oil
  • 170 g brown ale
  • 85 g liquid beef stock
  • 15 g soy sauce
  • 1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

Baking

  • 6 slices provolone (Italian cheese)
