Ingredients

  • 500 g broccoli, cut into florets (1-2 cm)

Koftas (meatballs)

  • 120 g brown onion, cut into halves
  • 2 bunches fresh coriander, cut into thirds, leaves, stalks and roots (approx. 120 g)
  • 12 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 fresh red chilli, trimmed, cut into halves and deseeded if preferred
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • salt, to season
  • ground black pepper, to season
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 500 g lamb mince

Curry sauce

  • 45 g ghee
  • 3 cm piece fresh ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 120 g brown onion, cut into quarters
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 3 tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 240 g natural yoghurt
  • 50 g water
  • 400 g tomato passata
  • 2 tbsp pouring (whipping) cream or coconut cream
