  • 3 - 4 red peppers (250-300 g each, see tip)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 100 g carrots, peeled, cut in pieces (2 cm)
  • 1 - 2 pinches ground black pepper, to taste
  • 150 g pitted green olives
  • 60 g sun-dried tomatoes, preserved in oil, drained
  • 30 g anchovy fillets, in oil, drained
  • 500 g mixed minced meat (e.g. beef and pork)
  • 80 g red wine
  • 150 g brown onions, quartered
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • 400 g tinned chopped tomatoes
  • 60 g raisins
