"Crab" Cakes

  • 1 can chickpeas (15 oz can), liquid reserved
  • 1 nori sheet, crumbled, in pieces
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 2 tsp dried dill
  • 2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning®
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 3 green onions, cut into pieces
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 can hearts of palm (14 oz), drained
  • 1 ½ oz panko bread crumbs

Sriracha Vegan Mayonnaise

  • 3 oz vegan mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • vegetable oil, to fry
  • ground paprika, to sprinkle (optional)
  • fresh dill, to garnish
  • 1 lemon, cut in wedges
